Situated, lakeside, in the private Welbeck Estate, we welcome both beginners and accomplished helms.
We sail a menagerie fleet :- Lasers, Mirrors, Ents., Toppers etc. the emphasis being on family sailing and enjoyment rather than cut-throat competition.
Nevertheless, some of our members compete elsewhere with considerable
success.
The 2010 season is now under way and will be finishing in November with a
bonfire and BBQ.
11 July 2010 - Club Open Day - Try Sailing for Free !
Welbeck Sailing Club are looking forward to this summer and to welcoming new members to our small club, set in a beautiful quiet location on the Great Lake at Welbeck Abbey.
An Open Day on Sunday 11th July will enable you to see our members dinghy sailing and racing. Refreshments will be available in the Club House. As access to the club is a gated entry please let us know if you are coming and you will be met at the gate in Norton Village. We are a registered R.Y.A approved training centre for sailing.Please click here for more information.
4th April 2010 - Start of new season
The first day back of the 2010 sailing season started today with good weather conditions (if still a little on the cool side). Wednesday evening sailing resumes later on in the year.
