Activities
Situated, lakeside, in the private Welbeck Estate, we welcome both beginners and accomplished helms.
We sail a menagerie fleet :- Lasers, Mirrors, Ents., Toppers etc. the emphasis being on family sailing and enjoyment rather than cut-throat competition.
Nevertheless, some of our members compete elsewhere with considerable success.
Social functions are organised from time to time. These are usually fairly informal, BBQ's, bonfire, etc.
During the winter months members keep in touch by monthly get-togethers in a chosen pub,and at the annual prizegiving which is the major social function of the year.
Children are always welcome and we encourage Members to organise interesting things for them to do, on site and in the Clubhouse. Please note that as a Club we are not able to take on the responsibility for children in the absence of their parents.
