Open Day July 11th 2010
Welbeck Sailing Club are looking forward to this summer and to welcoming prospective new members to our small club, set in a beautiful, quiet location on the Welbeck Estate.
An open day on Sunday 11th July will enable you to visit our friendly club and see our members sailing and racing in a variety of dinghies.
Refreshments will be available in the Club House.
As access and numbers are restricted it is essential that places are reserved in advance.
Groups will be met at the estate entrance in Norton village at 11:30, 1:30 and 3:30 and escorted to the club. Visitors are, of course, welcome to stay as long as wanted (until we close) to enable them to enjoy the day and fully evaluate our facilities. So why not come and enjoy a day down at the Great Lake - and still be home in plenty of time for the World Cup final?
Whilst we race on Sundays, we are also open on Saturday afternoons and Wednesday evenings for practice and training. Should you wish to take advantage of this we are happy to offer prospective members three free sessions for you to try your hand at sailing on these days.
We are a registered RYA approved training centre for sailing.
